Surname: Govek, Lesar, Morgal, Volk, Champa, Stiermiks, Artac, Van Horn, Perushek, Schiltz, Tolaney Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 13 May 1937 Gorman F. Govek and family of Willard called at the John and Joe Lesar homes Thursday evening. The field man of the Neillsville Canning Co. has been through here last week as a great many farmers are putting in their peas. A pea viner is being installed on the Frank Morgal, Sr., place. Joseph Volk called at the Frank Champa home Friday evening. Misses Frances, Ann and Emma Volk from Chicago are visiting their parents here. Jerome Stiermiks called on John Lesar Thursday night. Some from here attended the 30th wedding anniversary surprise party in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Artac of Willard at the Catholic Hall at Willard Thursday evening. The Successful Farmer salesman was through here last week. Frank Van Horn called at the Frank Champa, Sr., home one day last week. Ludvik Persuhek, Sr. and Frank Champa, Jr. were at Black River Falls on business one day the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Champa, Sr. called at the Fred Schiltz home Sunday. Mrs. Anton Tolaney and son Joseph were Sunday callers at the F. Champa home.
