----- Heiting, Loretta M. (12 JUL 1934 – 30 MAY 2006)

Loretta M. Heiting was born to eternal life on Tuesday, May 30, 2006, after a very long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 12:30 p.m., on Monday, June 5, at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church, Milwaukee. She was laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Loretta Mae Roth was born on July 12, 1934, in Loyal, to George and Estella Roth. She married John Alvin Foster in St. Anthony’s Church, Loyal, on Aug. 20, 1955. She married Robert Heiting at St. Agnes Church, Butler, on Dec. 18, 1976. She was a courageous, resourceful lady whose strength came from her faith in God. She was an extremely competent secretary, but most of all, she was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She loved children, animals, flowers, and all of God’s creation. She was a beautiful lady of quiet compassion. She did not seek recognition, but all who knew her loved her. She opened her heart and brought tenderness and caring to all whose lives she touched. She gave her wonderful and meaningful life values to her children. She will always be a role model for dignity, honesty, compassion and love. She had a deep devotion to Jesus and to his blessed mother, Mary. She sang in the church choir with her husband, Bob, taught in the CC program, was a Eucharistic minister, lector, visited the sick and homebound, served in the bereavement ministry, and other church ministries. She was and still is an inspiration to all of us and we will miss her so very much.

Survivors include her husband, Bob; her five children, Theresa Anderson (Foster), Marissa Kexel (Foster), Maureen Baier (Foster), Phillip Foster, and Leonard Foster; her step daughter, Cynthia Salmins (Heiting); two sisters, Margaret Foster (Roth) and Rita Foster (Roth); two brothers, Virgil Roth and Joseph Roth; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, Bernadine Foster (Roth); four brothers, Leonard Roth, George Roth, Donald Roth, and Raphael Roth.

Church and Chapel Funeral Home, West Allis, assisted the family with arrangements.
