News: York (1890/07/03)
Surnames: GIBSON, PEASE Source: Republican and Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 07/03/1890 WILCOX Camp meeting still continues, and the interest is increasing. Mr. Samuel Gibson intends to start for Granada, Iowa, July 1st. He went there a year ago to make it his home, came back last fall to settle up his business and intended to have gone back in a short time, but his health has been so poor he could not go until now. We are sorry to have him leave us. Mr. Vet Pease, Jr. intends to spend the 4th down the Stevens Point way. It looks a little suspicious, Vet. Oh, how hot! Corn never grew any faster than for the last week. Haying will soon begin, and grass is good. The Sunday School intends to have a picnic on the camp meeting ground the 4th, and a good time is expected. B.A. |
