WILCOX

Forest Lawrence, lumber merchant of Plymouth, Sheboygan County, made his brother, A.E. Lawrence and other friends a short visit last week.

Charles Hayden, an old resident of York, now living in Montana, is visiting his father-in-law, Martin Sweet, and others. He looks hale and hearty, and likes his new home.

Miss Ella Livingston has closed her school at Longwood and has returned to her sister’s Mrs. Willie Turner.

Herbert Gibson has gone to Fond du Lac to work on his brother’s farm.

Mrs. Charlotte Lawrence, mother of A.E. Lawrence, and his sister, Effie, have returned to Plymouth.

Mrs. Mercy Pease is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Dwight Thompson, at Tomah.

Miss Bertha Hallock closed her school in District No. 3 last week.

A donation party was tendered Harry Philpott on the 25th at the home of John Steinfeldt. The thirty dollars left him was a substantial token of esteem.

Joseph Palmer is confined to the house by poor health.

Al Lawrence is suffering from rheumatism.

The infant son of Henry Peat died suddenly Sunday, March 29th, after about two months struggle with life. The mother died on January 28th.
