Mrs. W.H. Smithers slipped and fell breaking one of the bones in her wrist. Dr. Lacey was called in and set the bone and she is getting along very well.

Mrs. Allie Turner is improving very slowly, from an attack of the erysipelas.

Mrs. Joseph Palmer died at Hemlock Sunday evening. The funeral was held at York Center, Rev. J. Jefferson, of Greenwood officiating, assisted by Jas. Ford of Loyal. Mr. and Mrs. Palmer were among the first settlers of York. She leaves two sons and one daughter to mourn her loss.
