(18 March 1927 - 28 July 2006) Lucille D. Joyce Lucille D. Joyce, 79, of Marshfield died Friday morning July 28, 2006, at the Marshfield Care Center. Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at the Hansen Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Maldon Plank will provide music with Bill Allen serving as soloist. Interment of ashes will be at a later date. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Joyce was born March 18, 1927, in Platteville, a daughter of Ernest and Elizabeth (Speth) Mueller. Lucille moved with her family to a farm near Neillsville. In 1944, she graduated from Neillsville High School. On October 10, 1945, the former Lucille Mueller was united in marriage to Wilbur Joyce in Neillsville. The couple farmed in the Neillsville area until 1967, when they moved to Loyal. In 1989, the couple moved to Marshfield. Lucille worked at Weyerhaeuser for 25 years, retiring in 1992. In retirement, Lucille enjoyed traveling "Up North" to the Hayward area with Wilbur, following the Packers, cooking and most especially, spending time with her family. Lucille is lovingly survived by her husband, Wilbur; three children, Beverly (Richard) Schmidt, Neillsville, Michael (Kathy Boushon) Joyce, Greenwood, and Diane (Randy) Kanneberg, Marshfield. She is further survived by seven grandchildren, Lisa (Duane) Blanchard, Cindy (Randy) Munns, Mark (Nikki) Schmidt, Tina (Mark) Coletta, Kim (Bryan) Coyle, Ryan (Tara Strey) Schmidt and Troy Kanneberg; 12 great-grandchildren, Clay Blanchard, Cassandra and Brandon Lindsey, Alex and Jack Munns, Brooke and Morgan Pankratz, Eric and Katelyn Coletta, Kennedy Coyle and Tate and Brett Kanneberg. One brother, Arnold (Leona) Mueller of Muskego, further survives Lucille. Her parents, one brother and her grandson, Kurt Kanneberg, preceded Mrs. Joyce in death. |
