Pauline McCray

OWEN -- Pauline McCray, 86, Owen, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006, at her home. Private graveside services will be held Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Pauline was born July 4, 1920, in Iowa to Paul and Alice (Adams) Ritter. Pauline and Blaine McCray were married April 28, 1940. She worked for various factories in the Owen area and also operated the Come and See Shop, a secondhand store in Withee.

She is survived by her husband, Blaine of Owen; her daughter, Bonnie Marcott, Owen; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; one brother, Merlyn Ritter, Owen; and one sister, Alice Bender, Owen.

Dear cousin Pauline, you are sorely missed. Thank you for helping me with a lot of family history for the Adams Family Tree book. It was so good to visit you and Blaine July 11, 2001. I have many pictures to remember you by.
