George Roohr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Roohr, Sr. died at the Marshfield hospital Sunday morning at 2:30 Dec. 19, 1937. George Roohr was born Feb. 28, 1920 and at the time of his death was 17 years, 9 months and 18 days old. The cause of his death was anemia.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o’clock from the residence and at 2 o’clock from the Riplinger Lutheran Church with the Rev. W. Gamb officiating. Burial was in the Beaver Cemetery by the side of his sister who preceded him in death.

George was a kind and loving boy at home and with whom he came in contact. He will be greatly missed by his parents. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents, two brothers and three sisters, namely: Wm. Roohr, Jr., Adam Roohr, Mrs. Richard Witte (Bernice), and Mrs. Lawrence Neuman (Gertrude), and Beverly at home. His aged grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reack, Sr., and a host of cousins and relatives and friends also survive.

Those who came from a distance to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Ruzek of Two Rivers and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilkes of Kewaunee, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Roohr, Jr. of Medford.

Pall bearers were Donald Hardrath, Allan Hardrath, Harlen Reack, Gerald Roohr, Arnold Molle and Eddie Cammers, the four former boys being cousins of the deceased.

Flower girls were Elpha Schuette, Irene Schuette,Blanche Schuette, Dorothy Schuette, Helen Reack, Lila Hardrath, and Caroline Schultz, all cousins of the deceased except the later.
