Mohr, Barbara A. (April 22, 1948 - March 22, 2005)

Barbara A. Mohr, age 56 of Thorp, WI passed away at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, WI on March 22, 2005. Services were held on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maple Grove Bible Church, Stanley, WI, with Pastor Gordon Bakan officiating. Burial followed in the Edson Union Cemetery, Edson, WI. Friends and family called on Friday evening from 4-8 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Chapel, Stanley, WI and 1 hour prior to service time at the church.

Barbara was born April 22, 1948 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Charles and Carol (Lange) Knapp. At a young age she moved with her family to Minneapolis, where she grew up and attended area schools. She was united in marriage to Bruce Mohr on July 15, 1988 at the Maple Grove Bible Church, Stanley, and resided in the Town of Worden, Clark County since. She managed the Renegade Restaurant in Stanley for a number of years and then was the Food Service Supervisor at Stanley-Boyd Schools. Besides her great love for her family, especially her grandchildren, she enjoyed golfing very much.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Mohr, of Thorp, WI; 5 children: Scott (Mary) Stroud, Brett Stroud, and Amy Bischoff, all of Minneapolis, MN, Krista Hughes of Stanley, WI, and Carey Mertens of Boyd, WI; 23 grandchildren; step-children: Layna (Dale) Celestine of Richmond, VA, Michelle (Dan) Nelson of Stanley, WI, April (Adam) Fryza of Jump River, WI, Joe (Emily) Langel of Minneapolis; her parents, Chet and Carol Knapp of Minneapolis, MN; and 2 brothers: Richard (Jan) Knapp of Appleton, WI, and Ron (Mary) of Denver, Co.

Plombon Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
