Frances M. Boehnen

LOYAL -- Frances Marcella Boehnen, 90, of Milwaukee, formerly of Loyal, died Dec. 14, 2006, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, with a 6 p.m. prayer service, at the Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal.

Frances was born Feb. 16, 1916, in the town of Curran, Jackson County, to Albert and Minnie (Scholl) Hoffmann. She was united in marriage to Paul Boehnen on Oct. 23, 1937, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Milwaukee. They lived in Milwaukee until 1950 when they purchased a farm and moved to Loyal. Frances was a homemaker and resided on the farm until her husband's death on Sept. 30, 1977. She moved to Milwaukee in 2001.

Surviving Frances are her children, Ronald Boehnen, Fremont, Lawrence (Ruth) Boehnen, Hixton, Marlene (Bobbi) Nagel, Jackson, Kathleen (Robert) Schmidt, New Berlin, Robert (Terri) Boehnen, Waukesha, Kenneth (Karen) Boehnen, Spencer, Mary (Glenn) Lazich, New Berlin, and Eileen (Kenneth) Dux, Menomonee Falls; 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ruby Boehnen, Colby.
