Raphael Stragisher officiated at a Requiem High Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard, at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning fro Mrs. Catherine Pietka, 71, who died April 10, 1943 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Smrecek, Town of Mead (Clark Co., Wis.), after a two months’ illness. Interment was made in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Pietka was born Dec. 13, 1871, in Austria, Hungary, and came to America 34 years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John Smrecek, Town of Mead, and Miss Irene Pietka, Flint, Mich., who came to attend the funeral of her mother. Pallbearers were Frank Perushek, Joseph Dobush, Mick Artac, John Gregorich, Frank Kokaly, and Valentine Jeras. |
