Pleasant Ridge

William Hubing of Terry, Mich., has been visiting his brothers and other relatives on the Ridge.

Mrs. Oral Graham of Robinsdale, Minn., and daughter and baby of Eau Claire, visited at the Arlo Huckstead home last week.

Mrs. Lillian Howard of Neillsville spent the past week at the Ted Selves home. Mrs. Oral Graham and her father, Arlo Huckstead, called at the Selves home Tuesday.

The E. Short family had Easter dinner with Mrs. Sam Cook of Neillsville. In the afternoon they drove out to the Hughes home to visit Mr. and Mrs. D. P. Hughes, who came down from Menomonie to spent the day. Mrs. Cook remained for supper and returned to her home with Mr. and Mrs. D. P. Hughes. Ed, Will and Art Hubing were also callers in the afternoon.

William Hiles lost a cow the past week.

The Scheeler auction was well attended last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Scheeler will make their home at Abbotsford, near one of their daughters.

Miss Ella Braatz was Wausau visited the Braatz families and at the William Kurth home over the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Suckow and children spent Easter at the Rudolph Suckow home.

Grandma Stanley passed away Thursday morning, after a fail which resulted in a broken hip. It is believed she was our oldest resident.

Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Feutz of Humbird spent Sunday at the Ernest Vine home, and in the afternoon they drove to Hatfield to take a ride on an ice boat owned by a friend of Lynn.

Mrs. Arthur Hubing entertained her club last Thursday.
