(18 JUL 1897 – 7 OCT 1936) Funeral services were conducted today at Berlin for Mrs. Charles Quantius, 39, formerly a teacher in the Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) schools, who died early Wednesday morning at Berlin. Mrs. Quantius, nee Eunice Gertrude Paul, was born July 18, 1897, in Kellogg, Minn. She was graduated from the Greenwood High School in 1917 and attended the Eau Claire Normal school for two years, after which she taught school at Bloomer, Greenwood, Wis. Rapids and Berlin. Her marriage to Charles Quantius took place Aug. 22, 1936, at Waukegan, Ill. She was a member of the Congregational Church at Berlin and of the Greenwood Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving besides her husband are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.N. Paul, Dodgeville. One brother preceded her in death. |
