Callahan returned to Spencer on Feb. 6, 1944 from Fitzsimmons General Hospital at Denver, Colo. After serving for the past 19 months in the United States Army. On Feb. 26, 1944, he will be retired from active service due to a physical disability and will be placed on the inactive list. Captain Callahan will open an office in Spencer in the next few days.
