Felten, Ila M (21 June 1922 - 12 Jan. 2007) Ila M. Felten Ila M. Felten, 84, of Spencer died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at Bethel Center in Arpin. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark A. Krueger officiating. Burial will be in Brooklawn Memory Garden Cemetery in the town of Richfield, with relatives and friends serving as the pallbearers. Visitations will begin Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until service times at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home. Ila was born June 21, 1922, in Clark County to Sigward and Olga (Johnson) Johnson. She was a graduate of Loyal High School and worked as a sales clerk for JC Penney in Marshfield prior to her marriage. She was united in marriage to Louis "Bud" Felten on Sept. 12, 1964, in Marshfield. Louis died Sept. 8, 2005. Ila was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and painting. She is survived by her two sons, Gary (Barbara) Millard of Marshfield and Lee Millard of Waupaca; two granddaughters, Lisa (William) Gratzek of Marshfield and Sara Meyer of Geneva, Ill.; and two great grandchildren, Brittany Gratzek and Heather John Meyer. Ila was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud; one son, Loren, during the Vietnam War in 1968; a grandson, John Meyer, in 1996; and three brothers, Eddward, Raymond and Calvin "Kelly". Memorials may be given in Ila's name to Saint Joseph's Palliative Care Unit. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com. |
