Sr. (20 JAN 1908 - 28 MAR 2003) THORP - Milton John Kodl Sr., 95, of Thorp, Clark County, Wis., died March 28, 2003, at his residence. No services will be held. Thorp Funeral home is assisting the family. He was born Jan. 20, 1908, in Chicago, the son of John and Josephine (Spala) Kodl. He was united in marriage to Edna Nieman on April 28, 1934, at St. Ludmilla Catholic Church in Chicago. He farmed from 1941 until his retirement in 1970. Survivors include his wife, Edna Kodl of Thorp; four daughters, Elaine (Gale) Kienholz of Woodbury, Minn., Marjorie (David) Smith of Payson, Ariz., Jeanette (Paul) McCatharn of Ocala, Fla., Deborah (James) White of Gilbert, Ariz.; one son, Milton Jr. (Norma) Kodl of Owen; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. |
