Surnames: BICKEL Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 03/19/1908 Bickel, Mae R. (1 MAY 1885 - 16 MAR 1908) Mrs. Mae Reed Bickel, wife of Theodore Bickel, died at her home in this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) of convulsions, on Monday, March 16, 1908. She was born in Richland Co., Wis., on May 1, 1885, and was united in marriage with Theodore Bickel at Viroqua, on June 17, 1906, coming here soon after. She gave birth to a boy on Sunday last, the child being in a healthy condition and the mother apparently so, for several hours, when she became suddenly ill and death followed as above stated. The remains were taken to La Farge, Wis., on Monday night for burial. She leaves, besides her husband and infant son, her parents, six brothers and four sisters, all residents of Richland Co. to mourn her untimely death. |
