Felten, 84, Spencer, died on Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at Bethel Center, Arpin. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark A. Krueger officiated. Burial was in the Brooklawn Memory Garden Cemetery, town of Richfield, with relatives and friends serving as pallbearers. Ila M. Johnson was born on June 21, 1922, in Clark County, to Sigward and Olga (nee Johnson) Johnson. She was a graduate of Loyal High School and worked as a sales clerk for JC Penny, Marshfield, prior to her marriage. She married Louis “Bud” Felten on Sept. 12, 1964. in Marshfield. He died on Sept. 8, 2005. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and painting. Survivors include two sons Gary (Barbara) Millard, Marshfield, and Lee Millard, Waupaca; two granddaughters, Lisa (William) Gratzek, Marshfield, and Sara Meyer, Geneva, Ill.; and two great-grandchildren, Brittany Gratzek and Heather John Meyer. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Bud; one son, Loren, during the Vietnam War in 1968; a grandson. John Meyer, in 1996; and three brothers, Edward, Raymond and Calvin “Kelly.” Memorials may be given in her name to Saint Joseph’s Palliative Care Unit. Condolences may be sent online to rembsfh.com. Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. |
