Several weeks ago she was taken to the Columbia Hospital at Watertown where she passed away on Tuesday, October 22. Funeral services were held at the Nowack Funeral Home in that city, Rev. She is survived by her mother and one sister, (Louise) Mrs. William Asmus, a niece and two nephews, all of Watertown. Mr. Wiedenhoeft passed away six years. He conducted a tailor shop in this city and also was associated with F. P. Hemp in the grocery business, operating under the firm name of Hemp & Wiedenhoeft. Source: Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) Thurs., 7 Nov. 1940 Ed. Brodhagen Survives In the obituary of Mrs. Edwin Brodhagen (nee Ruth Wiedenhoeft) Milwaukee, last week, Mr. Brodhagen’s name was omitted from the list of surviving relatives. Since Mr. Brodhagen devotion to his wife throughout their married life and all through her three years of illness made the omission the more noticeable to friends of the couple, it is but fitting that the addition to be made.
