News: Withee Train Wreck (11 Mar 1910)
Source: Dorchester Clark County Herald, 11 Mar., 1910. Surnames: Heican, Johnson, Sill WRECK AT WITHEE The worst wreck that the Soo Line has experienced since its control of the Central hapened last Friday morning at Withee. One extra ran into the caboose of another extra, killing Brakeman Hedican, of Ashland and injuring Fireman Johnson and Brakeman Sill. Sevn cars and the engine were completely demolished. Fire broke out, burning one car but the tire company was called out and extinguished the fire before more cars were burned. |
