Gabelbauer, Marie (Marriage – 17 May 1941)

Miss Marie Gabelbauer and Carl Hauge, both of Milwaukee, were united in marriage in that city May 17th. The sing-ring ceremony was performed by a justice of the peace, with the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gabelbauer as witnesses.

Mr. Hauge is the son of Martin Hauge of this city. He was born and grew to manhood here, graduated from the Neillsville high school in 1922. Since then he has been employed in Milwaukee most of the time, his present work being with the Harley Davidson Company. Mrs. Hauge is not a total stranger here, having visited Neillsville on a number of occasions. She is a young woman of pleasing personality, favorably impressing those who have met her.

The couple returned to their home at 920 North 37th Street, Apt. 5, Milwaukee, after a brief wedding trip to Chicago. They spent the past weekend with his home folks.
