Bartnik, Lucille (4 JUN 1930)

Lucille Bartnik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Bartnik, and Joseph Miller, son of Mrs. Joe Miller of east Dorchester Country, were united in marriage at the Milan St. Thomas Catholic Church at 9 o’clock Wednesday morning, June 4th, 1930, Rev. Father Kramer officiating. The bride was beautifully attired in a white satin and net gown and wore a veil. The bridesmaids were Frieda Bartnik and Ida Miller, the former wearing a gown of powder blue chiffon and the latter a gown of flat crepe maize and they and the bride all carried bouquets of pink roses. The gentlemen wore dark blue suits.

After the ceremony they all repaired to the home of the bride’s parents where a wedding breakfast was served.

The bride and groom need no introduction in Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) country as they were raised here and are fine young folks that are a credit to any neighborhood. They went right to keeping house on Joe’s farm north of Jerkwater and are making a real cozy home of it too. We all join in wishing them just heaps of happiness all along life’s way.

The out of town guests were Frieda and Mattie Bartnik of Chicago, Anna Bartnik of St. Paul, Elsie and Antoinette Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Metz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bartz and family, all of Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller of Ironwood.
