BioM: Bischoff, Miss ? (1931)
Surnames: BISCHOFF HACKEL TAUCHEN Source: WEEKLY CLARION (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) 09/18/1931 Bischoff, Miss ? (15 SEP 1931) A very beautiful ceremony took place Tuesday morning in the St. Louis Catholic Church when Miss Bischoff was united in marriage to Wm. A. Hackel, of near Milan, with Rev. Paul Pitzenberger officiating. The altar was tastily covered with gladioli, roses and other beautiful cut flowers and ferns. The bride was attractively attired in a long white satin fitted gown, wore a cap style veil and carried a shower bouquet of roses and carnations. The maid of honor, Miss Linda Bischoff, was gowned in canary satin and the bridesmaid, Miss Florence Tauchen, wore a coral rose satin gown and each carried a shower bouquet of mixed flowers. The groom and his attendants, Eldred Tuachen and Leonard Bischoff, wore dark suits. Immediately after the ceremony a regal wedding dinner was served to seventy guests at the home of the bride’s parents and a reception followed. The home was beautifully decorated to match the dresses of the bride and her maids. The reception continued through the evening with many relatives, neighbors and friends in attendance. The bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bischoff, is well known here (Dorchester, Clark Co., Wis.) and as the groom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Hackle, is also known to many, there need be no introduction. The many friends of the happy pair join the Clarion in extending wishes for future prosperity and happiness. The couple will immediately make their home on the groom’s farm several miles east of this village. Out of town guests present for the celebration were Mrs. W. Zink of Bordulac, N.D.,, Mrs. Gust Zink and son, Henry, of Carrington, N.D., Miss Anna and Herman Bischoff, Mrs. Albert Schwanke and son, Myron, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Legtner and son, Andrew, all of Fountain City, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Urban and family and Mr. and Mrs. John Westemeyer and family of Stetsonville. |
