-Reichert, Caroline (13 Feb. 1913 – 1 Oct. 1946)

Funeral Services were held Friday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home for Miss Caroline Reichert, who was killed Tuesday morning, when the car in which she was riding with her fiancée, Maurice Morgan, left the road and crashed into the ditch, when something went wrong with the steering gear.

Miss Reichert was born at Stratford, February 13, 1913. She worked in LaCrosse for the past ten years, until last March, when she came to the Morgan residence to care for Mrs. Mary Morgan who suffered a stroke and has been an invalid since that time.

Rev. Paul M. Stimmler, Missionary of Sparta, conducted the services, due to the absence of Father Beschka.

Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Domer sang “In the Morning” and “Some Day He’ll Make it Plain to Me.”

Pallbearers were Verner McNeight, Harry Mandel, Melvin Tennis, Ernest Schjoneman, Glen Misener and Ted Frane.

Those in charge of flowers were Mrs. Forrest Johnson, Mrs. Glen Misener, Mrs. Melvin Tennis, Mrs. Frank Pfeffer.

Burial was made at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Colby.

A. Hardies and daughter Kareen, Mr. Harold Hardies, Menomonie; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Hardies and daughter, Altoona; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Boehning and son Raymond, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Harry, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Aschebrook, Mr. and Mrs. Gust. Aschebrook, Wausau; Mr. John Morgan, Fond du Lac; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reichert, Mrs. Philip Reichert, Mrs. Henry Hilgamen and son Armond, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Dix, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schnelle, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Zoellner, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Aschebrook, Mr. and Mrs. John Kroening, Mr. and Mrs. George Kroening and Mr. and Mrs. George Theilig of Stratford.
