Obit: Plockelman, Albina (1886 – 1932)
Surnames: PLOCKELMAN MILLER TACHEN Source: WEEKLY CLARION (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) 05/06/1932 Plockelman, Albina (31 DEC 1886 – 3 MAY 1932) (The micro-film copy for this obit was cut off on the left side, so some letters and words are missing) Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) folks were shocked to learn of the death of Mrs. Henry Plockelman, who passed away Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls, after an illness of two week’s duration. Funeral services are being held this Friday afternoon at two o’clock at the Little White Church, with Rev. L. Thiel officiating and burial will take place in the Memorial Cemetery. Albina Miller was born at Bangor, Wis., Dec. 31, 1886, and was 45 years, 4 months and 3 days old at the time of death. She grew to womanhood in Wisconsin and on June 20, 1906, she was united in marriage to Henry Plockelman at Medford. The happy couple moved to the Groom’s farm near Curtiss (Clark Co.) where they lived for 25 years. Two years ago they moved to Dorchester, their present home. Nine children were born to this union, all of whom, with their father, survive. Mrs. Plockelman was a quiet, home loving lady who brought every influence to bear in aiding her to raise a healthy, happy family. Her ? care and sacrifice made her not only a dearly beloved mother but one highly esteemed and loved by those who best knew her. A mother’s ? is stilled and lips are silent, yet her easy gracious acts and tender ? shall serve still in their ?. Mrs. Plockelman leaves her husband and nine children, Mrs. Fred Tauchen, Dorchester, Miss Ester, Cleveland, Wis., Miss Ruth and Emil, Wal? And Jeanne at home, and four grandchildren, Harold Bernice and ? Tauchen, and Marion Plockelman, to mourn her sudden departure. The Clarion joins the many friends extending a hand of sincerest sympathy and deepest understanding in this dark hour. |
