--Baumgartner, Emma (Marriage – 28 Dec. 1933)

Miss Emma Baumgartner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Baumgartner, and Mr. Robert Heiple, of Green Lake, were united in marriage Thursday morning, Dec. 28, at 11 o’clock. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Victor D. Weidler, at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Marie Baumgartner, and the groom by his brother-in-law, Mr. Kenneth Barney, of Westby, with Miss Barbara Barney as ring bearer. The bride wore a pale blue silk crepe dress and carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds and baby’s breath. Her attendant was attired in pale yellow organdy with a corsage bouquet of yellow tea roses. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to near relatives and friends.

The groom is a highly respected young man and is an electrician by trade. The bride, a teacher, will complete her year of teaching at the Mayville High School. The happy young couple will be at home to their many friends at Green Lake in June.
