Obit: Jacobson, Roger M. #3 (1928 – 2007) Surnames: JACOBSON BERG OHM BEAVER MEYERS SCHWECKE SOLBERG Source: Loyal TRG 18 April 2007 Jacobson, Roger M. #3 (23 AUG 1928 – 16 JAN 2007) Roger Jacobson, 78, Homosassa, Fla., formerly of Loyal, died on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, in Florida. A celebration of life has been planned at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, at his residence at W2020 Century Road, Loyal. Full military rites will be performed by the Loyal American Legion Post # 175. Roger Malcome Jacobson was born in Clearbrook, Minn., on Aug 23, 1928, to Roy and Myrtle (Berg) Jacobson. He moved to Loyal with his wife, Dolores, in March, 1958, and farmed for 49 years. He was a winter resident of Homosassa, Fla., for 25 years. In addition to his wife, Dolores, he is survived by his sons, Dave (Dawn) Jacobson, Greenwood, James (Sue) Jacobson, Loyal, and Allen (Joanne) Jacobson, Homosassa, Fla.; his daughters, Kathy (Denny) Ohm, Marshfield, Jeanie (Lawrie) Beaver, Marshfield, Donna (David) Meyers, Marshfield, and Diane (Tim) Schwecke, Marshfield; two brothers, Dean (Sharon) Jacobson, Park Rapids, Minn., and Jerry (Rachelle) Jacobson, Bagley, Minn.; one sister, Devona Solberg, Bagley, Minn.; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, is assisting the family with arrangements. |
