Unity Units

Mr. and Mrs. E. Creed returned Saturday from Amherst whether they went to attend the county fair.

A few of our young people attended the harvest dance given by Mr. and Mrs. Lunt, of Beaver, on Friday evening, Sept. 22.

Mr. and Mrs. I. P. Drake came down from Stittsonville last Saturday, where they had been temporarily staying during the summer. We are glad to know they are here to stay during the winter.

Almost any one would think from the hieroglyphics on W. Woodruff’s store that he dealt in groceries.

N. C. Ransom is still on the sick list, but improving as rapidly as can be expected.

Geo. W. Henderson has purchased lots north of A. Cook’s restaurant and is building a blacksmith shop on the same. Mr. Henderson has selected a location which will secure him a large share of the public patronage.

Elder Barker and family are here visiting a few days with their many friends, prior to their departure for Medford, where he will labor during the ensuring year.

Messrs. Leonard and J. H. Eastman took in the fairs at Neillsville and Black River Falls last week.
