Obit: Lew, Katherine (1860 – 1934) Surnames: LEW CZERMON TERLIKOWSKI TENETA Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 03/28/1934 Lew, Katherine (15 MAR 1860 – 23 MAR 1934) Mrs. Martin Lew died at her home in the Town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) on March 23, 1934, of old age infirmities, aged 74 years. Katherine Czermon Lew was born in Poland on March 15, 1860. She was united in marriage with Martin Lew in 1900 and in 1906 the couple emigrated to America, making their home in St. Louis, Mo., until their arrival in Thorp Country in 1917. Besides her husband, deceased leaves to mourn, two sons, Peter of Lublin, and John of Thorp, and two daughters, Mary Terlikowski of Lublin, and Rose Teneta of Ojibwa, Wis. The funeral was held at St. Mary’s Church at Lublin on Monday morning last, Rev. Kedzierski officiating, and interment taking place in the Lublin Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Lozinski, Peter Skowronski, Mile Kuindo, Albert Kodal, Peter Piwoni, and Peter Sawka. |
