Surnames: SCHWANTES AULT NAEDLER ---Source: Marshfield News Herald (Marshfield, Wood Co., Wis.) 08/03/1972 Schwantes, Roy (9 Apr. 1904 – 2 Aug. 1972) Spencer – Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, for Roy Schwantes, 68, who died Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Clark County Hospital, Owen, where he had resided for the past 40 years. The Rev. David Ault, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church will officiate and burial will be made in the Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery, Spencer. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at noon on Friday. Mr. Schwantes was born April 9, 1904 in the town of Unity and received his education in Spencer schools. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. William (Linda) Naedler, Granton; and two brothers, Harry, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and Arthur, Minneapolis. Four brothers and four sisters preceded him in death. |
