Surnames: SEEFELD HINZ ---Source: Marshfield News Herald (Marshfield, Wood Co., Wis.) 04/21/1941 Seefeld, Frank William (6 Feb. 1859 – 20 Apr. 1941) Unity – (Special) – Frank W. Seefeld, 82, died of pneumonia yesterday morning at his home in the Town of Unity, where his son, Fred, made his home with him. The body is lying in state at the Co-operative Funeral Home, Marshfield, and funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Brighton, of which he was a deacon. The Rev. H. C. Hinz will officiate. Frank William Seefeld was born in Pomerania, Germany, Feb. 6, 1859. When he was 14 years old he came with his parents to Wisconsin, and for the past 56 years had resided in the Town of Unity. Before coming to Unity he was employed at Iron Ridge. Mr. Seefeld, who served as supervisor of the Town Board of Unity, is survived by five sons, Herman, Town of Sherman, and Frank, Fred, Louis, and Albert, Town of Unity; 16 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Seefeld died 18 years ago. |
