Wednesday 06/06/2007 Vol. 47, No. 23, p. 9 Rueden, August (1 Aug 1947 – 29 May 2007) August Rueden, 69, Pittsville, died Tuesday, May 29th, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held June 2nd at Community Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Colby. Monsignor John Malik presided. Pallbearers were Ronald Manthe Jr., Daniel and C.J. Rueden, Loren Weister, Scott Spatz, Dewey Tishmann and Clay Dean. August was born August 1st, 1947 to Antone and Lorraine (Klessig) Rueden. He worked for area farms and Marshfield Homes. August last worked for the Aurora Group Home. August liked county-western music, was a member of the Special Olympics and enjoyed bowling. He is survived by his mother Lorraine, Marshfield; sisters Mildred (Don) Tischmann, Cadott, Lillian (Richard) Ingles, Eau Claire, Lorea (Ron) Manthe, Loyal and Charlotte Weister, Marshfield; brothers LeRoy Rueden, Burkburnett, TX and Daniel Rueden, Spencer. August was preceded in death by his father Antone and one sister, Mary Spatz. Maurina-Community Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. |
