Pribnow, Grace Irene (Dec 23, 1930 - July 10, 2007)

LOYAL -- Grace Irene Pribnow, 76, of Cornucopia, formerly of Loyal, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal.

No services will be held.

She was born Dec. 23, 1930, in Medford to Edward and Ella (Nelson) Mildbrand. She married John "Jack" W. Pribnow on May 20, 1961, at the United Methodist Church in Loyal. They resided in Loyal, and Grace opened a beauty salon on Main Street. She sold the salon in 1970. The couple then purchased a shoe store, which Grace operated before selling the store. She then worked at the grocery store until retiring, after which they moved to Cornucopia in 1990.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Pribnow of Cornucopia; son, Tadd (Sandy) Pribnow of Milladore; daughter Amy (Rick Lechner) Pribnow of Vesper; stepdaughter, Denise (Denns) Engevold of Spencer, stepson, John (Donna) Pribnow of Stratford; two grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren and several stepgreat-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brothers, Jim (Sharon) Mildbrand of Greenwood and Jack Mildbrand of Wausau; and three sisters, Marge Witt of Abbotsford, Arlene (Andy) Smith of Owen and Judy (Jim) Howard of Hawkins.
