Frank Feldbruegge (June 23, 1912 - July 12, 2007)

DORCHESTER -- Frank Henry Feldbruegge, 95, of Dorchester died Thursday, July 12, 2007 in the emergency room at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Maurina Funeral Home, Dorchester, with a Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service at 4 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m., all at the funeral home.

Frank was born June 23, 1912, in Marathon County to Frank and Bertha (Beyreis) Feldbruegge. Frank and Mary Cypher were united in marriage Sept. 5, 1944, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville. They farmed in the town of Mayville until 1977 when they moved to the village of Dorchester. Frank was employed with the Dorchester Co-op Fertilizer Plant and later worked for Liberty Homes as the night watchman.

Frank will be dearly missed by his wife of 62 years, Mary Feldbruegge of Dorchester; his children, Virginia (Peter) Strange of Boulder, Colo., Agnes (Pat) of Belleville, Ill., Judy (Joe) Decker, of Schofield, Ann Amundson of Eau Claire, Richard (Mary Ann) Feldbruegge of Abbotsford, Jim Feldbruegge of Medford, Mary (Jerry) Hedrick of Panama, Joe (Karla) Feldbruegge of Colby, and Gerard (Carla) Feldbruegge of Abbotsford; 19 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, three great-grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
