Kell (19 OCT 1945 - 29 JUL 2007) WITHEE -- Roger Charles Kell, 61, Withee, died Sunday, July 29, 2007, in the Emergency Room of Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. No services will be held. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at the Thorp Funeral Home. Roger was born Oct. 19, 1945, in Wausau to Norman and Irene (Wolfe) Kell. He enlisted in the Wisconsin National Guard on May 31, 1963, and served until March 3, 1969. He married Mary Ellen Kubera on Oct. 31, 1964, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee. He had been employed with the city of Thorp for the past 24 years and was currently the water plant operator. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen of Withee; his four children, Bryan Kell of Antigo, Bruce Kell of Fairchild, Tracy (Brian) Rau of Owen, and Bradley (Jody) Kell of Ladysmith; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Barbara Blumenstein of Owen, Charlotte (David) Hatlestad and Cheryl (Jay) Purdy, both of Withee. |
