Obit: Hodges, Martha V. #2 (1873 – 1900) Surnames: HODGES ---Source: NEILLSVILLE TIMES (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 01/18/1900 Hodges, Martha V. #2 (30 MAR 1873 – 4 JAN 1900) Died, at the home on Grand Av. In this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis), Jan. 4th, 1900, Miss Martha Viola Hodges, of consumption, aged 26 years. The burial was on Friday, Rev. Scovill officiating. Deceased was daughter of Mrs. Wm. Hodges and had resided here since their removal from Loyal 6 or 7 years ago. Her father, Wm. Hodges, died some five years ago. She was a modest, unassuming young lady, highly esteemed by all, of a loving disposition and with a mind bright above the average. The aged mother’s whose devotion to the beloved daughter was all absorbing, has the deepest sympathy of all. |
