Miss Theresa Napierala, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Napierala, Rib Falls, and Robert Hastreiter, son of Mrs. Barbara Hastreiter, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were married at the St. John’s Baptist Catholic Church in this village last Wednesday morning at nine o’clock, the Rev. Father A.L. Olbert officiating. Music was rendered by the Forester choir of which society the bride is a member.

The bride wore a white satin gown with a long train and a jacket of lace. A beaded Juliet cap held her tulle veil in place and she carried a shower bouquet of roses and swansonia.

The bridesmaids, Miss Margaret Kappa, Wausau, a friend of the bride, Miss Phyllis Hastreiter, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Elnora Hastreiter, Marshfield, a cousin of the bridegroom, were dressed alike in pale pink chiffon over taffeta and carried arm bouquets. Their frocks were tied with sashes of aua blue velvet and they wore pink Slippers.

Miss Bernice Napierala, sister of the bride who attended as flower girl, was attired in aqua-blue chiffon, tied with pink velvet, and wore slippers of blue. Her bouquet was of tea roses, snapdragons and carnations.

The bridegroom was attended by the bride’s brother, Clement Napierala, as best man, and his brothers, Bernard and Gordon Hastreiter, as groomsmen.

A reception for fifty guests was held at the home of the bride’s parents following the wedding ceremony.

Guests from out of town at the wedding included the bridegroom’s mother, Mrs. Barbara Hastreiter, and his brother, Joseph, of Thorp, Mrs. Louis Hastreiter and Mary Jane and Harold Hastreiter and Mrs. Jos. Hastreiter, Sr., Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Pampek, Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Pampek, and children, town of Bern, and Mr. and Mrs. John Krause, town of Wien.

The newlyweds spent a week on a trip to Duluth, Superior and point in Northern Wisconsin. They will reside at Thorp and will be at home to friends after Aug. 1st.
