Fremont – by Mrs. Orra Beeckler Mr. and Mrs. Dan Nickel spent the weekend visiting friends and relatives in Milwaukee. Miss Margaret Alyea of Marshfield came Saturday evening and visited with her patents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Alyea, over Sunday. Victor Krejci and daughter, Ruth, and Clayton Converse drove to Anderson Lake, near Perkinstown last Sunday and spent the day fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Jonson and son, Bill, and daughter, Elaine, Mr. and Mrs. Art Phipps, and son, Judson were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Zias and family, near Auburndale. Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Kobs and two sons, Kenneth, and Jack, spent Sunday afternoon with the latter’s sister, Mrs. Albert Mandel, and family, at Curtiss. Mr. and Mrs. Ordie Marshall of South Grant, and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Buricor of Richland Center were Monday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bender. Mr. and Mrs. Les. Todd has as their Sunday guests Mr. and Mrs. Lealander Morrison of Nasonville, the former being an uncle of Mr. Todd. Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Kobs visited his mother, Mrs. Julias Kobs at Colby Saturday evening.
