Surnames: Sage, Molkentin, Tyloch, Wesenberg, Rosenquist, Bildeau, Gurney, Kalsow, Rendell, Spear, O’Neil, Martin, Buhn Source: Clark County Press (Neillsville, WI) October 3, 2007 Sage, Evelyn Dora “Snooky” (April 8, 1940 - September 25, 2007) Evelyn Sage, age 67, of Neillsville, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Evelyn Dora Tyloch was born on April 8, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Isadore and Minnie (Molkentin) Tyloch. Upon leaving home she was married to Albert “Chick” Wesenberg from 1957 to 1970. She was then united in marriage to Orval “Ole” Sage in 1972. They lived on the Sage family farm. Ole died in 2005 and in 2007 Evelyn moved to the Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville. Through the years she has worked as a farmer’s wife. In 1976, she went on to school to receive her nursing assistant degree. She worked as a NA at the Osseo Nursing Home for seven years. She then worked full time hobby farming and caring for her grandchildren. Evelyn loved farm life, hunting, gardening and going up north to resorts with family. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving children, a son, Pete (Joan Rosenquist) Wesenberg of Neillsville; daughters, Cheryl (Ron) Bildeau, of Spooner, WI; Linda (Ron) Gurney, of Neillsville; Ethel (Wayne) Kalsow, of Neillsville; and Karrie (Rick Rendell) Sage, of Black River Falls. She is also survived by brothers, Bernie Tyloch, of Milwaukee, and Izzy Tyloch, of Crivitz, WI; sisters, Anna (William) Spear, of St. Francis, WI; Mae O’Neil, of Milwaukee; and Helen (Al) Martin, of Amberg, WI; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Tyloch and Rita Tyloch. She is also the wonderful grandmother to10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; three brothers, Wally, John, and Joe; a sister, Francis; a sister-in-law, Lillian Tyloch; and one grandchild. Funeral services for Evelyn were held Monday, October 1, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Neillsville. Pastor Dong Su Lee officiated. Music was provided by Pat Knudson, organist. Interment was in the East Lawn Cemetery in Augusta, WI. Casket bearers were: Tony Buhn, Ron Gurney, Parker Kalsow, Wayne Kalsow, Josh Rendell and Rick Rendell. The Gesche Funeral Home assisted Evelyn’s family with funeral arrangements.
