(December 17, 1946 - September 14, 2007) It is with great sadness that the family of Jack R. Grassman announces his passing September 14, 2007, after a brief illness associated with injuries sustained in a 2000 car accident. Jack was born December 17, 1946, in Marshfield. He graduated from Granton High School and attended the University of Wisconsin. He went on to pursue a career in construction management. His success was highlighted by his more than 20 years with Target Corporation, completing hundreds of stores nationwide. Jack is survived by his mother, Edith Grassman; brother Jerold (Carol) Grassman of Black River Falls; nieces, Jennifer Grassman and Carolyn (Ryan) Johnson and their families of Black River Falls; daughter, Margaret (Scott) Sedlar of Houston, TX, and grandchildren, Sophia Sedlar, Amelia Sedlar and Jack Sedlar. Jack was preceded in death by his loving father, Richard Grassman. His courage and charisma were infectious and inspiring. He was deeply loved and will be truly missed. A private ceremony will be held in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
