Raether, Albert F. (6 Jan. 1857 - 6 March 1932)

"Albert Raether Passed Last Sunday.

Coming after a short illness, death claimed Albert F. Raether at his home on Second Street Sunday night.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at Reimers' Mortuary, Rev. Edwin B. Hays, pastor of the Livermore Presbyterian Church,officiating, and was followed by cremation in Oakland (CA).

He was a native of Wisconsin, aged 75 years, 2 months and 3 days, and had resided here for the past year and a half.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elisabeth Raether; two daughters, Mrs. A. E. Johnson of Chicago and Mrs. Fred Wendt of Neillsville, Wisconsin; and two sons, Alvin Raether of Oakland and Frank Raether of Livermore.

His entire family, including even those from Chicago and Wisconsin, were here during the last days of his illness and were at his bedside when the end came."
