Hrasky, Ann M. (31 Aug. 1916 – 23 Jan. 2005)

Ann M. Hrasky, 88, of Eau Claire, died Sunday, January 23, 2005, at Country Terrace in Altoona.

Ann was born August 31, 1916, in Granton, Wis. to John and Anna (Dravecki) Hrasky. She graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Marshfield, Wis. She worked at Sacred Heart Hospital for 40 years, retiring in 1984. She was the head nurse of the maternity department. She was a volunteer in many areas and an active member of St. Ann’s Society of Sacred Heart Church.

Ann is survived by one sister, Helen Moffett of Shelton, Wash.; nieces and nephews, Sr. Beatrice Lindsay of Fond du Lac, Wis., Katherine (Dennis) Zajac of Couderay, Wis., Murray Lindsay of Brownwood, Texas, Douglas Lindsay of Sheboygan, Wis., Andrew (Barb) Lindsay of Sheboygan, Wis.; numerous great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Stoulil and Caroline Lindsay; two brothers, Andrew and John Hrasky.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2005, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Edmund Klimek officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Durand, Wis.

Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to Sacred Heart Church or Sacred Heart Hospital.

Ann’s family would like to thank the staff at Country Terrace for their care and kindness for Ann.
