Surnames: Seefeld, Hinz ---Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 04/24/1941 Seefeld, Frank W. #2 (6 Feb. 1859 – 20 Apr. 1941) Frank W. Seefeld died of pneumonia Sunday morning at his home in the town of Unity where his son, Fred, made his home with him. The body had been lying in state at the Co-operative Funeral Home at Marshfield and funeral services will be conducted this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran church in the town of Brighton of which he was a deacon. Rev. H. C. Hinz will officiate. The deceased was born in Pommerania, Germany, Feb. 6, 1859, thus reaching the age of 82. When he was 14 years of age he came to Wisconsin with his parents and resided in the town of Unity for the past 56 years. Before moving to Unity, he was employed at Iron Ridge. He served as supervisor of the town board of Unity. Surviving are five sons – Herman of the town of Sherman and Frank, Fred, Louis and Albert of the town of Unity. Also 16 grand children and 12 great grand children. Mrs. Seefeld died 18 years ago.
