Mrs. Julius Lenz is still confined to her bed with heart trouble.

Carl Dahnert returned Friday from Madison, where he was visited relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schlimme of Neillsville were Sunday dinner guests at the Ray Kutsche home. Mr. and Mrs. George Shaw of York spent the afternoon there also.

Mrs. Peter Honzik has returned from Chicago, where she visited her son and family.

Mr. and Mrs. James Kalas of Shortville spent Sunday at the Honzik home.

Frank Schmidt spent several days the past week at St. Paul.

An eight-pound boy arrived Saturday morning at the Allen Crockett home just in time to get his stocking hung up for Christmas.

Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Buker of Greenwood spent an evening the past week at the Charles Neff home.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Strebing and family visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Lenz, recently.

About 15 members of the Happy Hour Club attended the meeting at Mrs. Clarion Counsell’s home last Wednesday. A lesson on sewing was given. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Ed Shramek, January 2.

Mrs. Joe Holub, Sr., and daughter, Lillian, Mrs. Ladd Holub and daughter, Lorraine, drove to Marshfield Sunday to visit Ladd Holub at the hospital. A minor operation to drain the wound was performed the past week, and he is doing nicely.

Miss Helen Wucki had gone to Chicago to spend a few weeks before going on to Florida to look for work.
