Obit: Oberholtzer, Ermentrude (? – 1942)
Surnames: Patey, Oberholtzer ---Source: The Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 24 Dec. 1942 Oberholtzer, Ermentrude (? – 1942) Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Patey left Thursday for La Crosse where they attended the funeral of her niece, Miss Ermentrude Oberholtzer, which was held there on Friday. Interment was made at Norwalk, Wis., the former home of the Oberholtzer family. Miss Ermentrude took the training which fitted her for teaching rural schools, in Neillsville, making her home during that time and also while she taught in the Shortville School, with Mr. and Mrs. Patey. Recently she had been keeping house for her father near La Crosse where she was taken ill with an infection in her ears about ten days ago. She was taken to St. Francis hospital, La Crosse, where she passed away with peritonitis. She is survived by her father, two sisters and four brothers. The mother and a sister preceded her in death.
