Surnames: Wildish, Blish, Nemitz, Church, Kolbrech, Zeigler, Zank, Allen, Swanson, Berger, Gehrt, Mohr, Grabe, Milton, Oldham Source: The Clark County Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 11 March 1943 Pine Valley Center – By Mrs. Orin Eastman A miscellaneous shower was given for Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wildish at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Blish Friday afternoon. Cards were played and a 5 o’clock lunch served. Mr. and Mrs. Wildish received many nice gifts. Mrs. Charlie Nemitz entertained the Sidney club Thursday afternoon. Louis Nemitz of Milwaukee visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nemitz and other relatives for a few days last week. Mr. and Mrs. George Church visited at the Herman Klaun home Wednesday evening. Mrs. Frances Kolbrech has resigned her position as teacher in the Silver Crest School. Mrs. Esther Zeigler has been engaged to fill the position. Mrs. William Zank visited with Mrs. Edwin Allen one afternoon last week. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Berger and family visited with her father, Herman Gehrt, and family Sunday afternoon. Miss Marie Mohr of Neillsville visited her brother, Fred Mohr, and family Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Zank and children called at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Zank, Thursday. Mrs. Kenneth Grabe of Neenah visited with Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Milton, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. William Oldham and son of Globe visited with Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Milton Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Zank and daughter visited at the William Zank home Sunday. Mrs. William Zank called at the Albert Zank home Friday.
