Obit: Reed, David (1876 – 1944)
Surnames: Reed, Oates, Brien, Flett Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 08/10/1944 Reed, David (27 Feb. 1876 – 4 Aug. 1944) Mrs. David Reed, who had been ill since Jan. 4th, died at 12:20 P.M. Friday at her home in Unity at the age of 66 years, a complication of ailments being the cause of her death. Funeral services were conducted at the Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield Monday afternoon, Rev. Arthur R. Oates of the Marshfield First Presbyterian church officiating. Mrs. Reed, the former Elsie Brien, was born in Neenah on February 27, 1876, and was married in Marshfield on March 2, 1898. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Ira Reed of San Diego, Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Olive Flett and Miss Edith Brien of Oregon City, Ore., and two grand children.
