Thaws are in season this year.

Attorney Cole came up from Marshfield Monday.

E. F. Rossman spent Sunday and Monday in town.

H. E. Wells, of Milwaukee, solicited here, on Tuesday.

Attorney R. B. Salter came down from Colby, Saturday.

Mrs. E. R. Week, of Stevens Point, visited Unity, Saturday.

Nellie Brintnall came down from her school at Thorp, Saturday.

W. H. Elkey, of Fort Howard, called on our merchants, Monday.

C. Ayer took a business trip to Medford, Monday, returning Tuesday.

Dick Berg re-entered school, Monday, having ceased work for Mr. Healy.

Geo. McEwen, of Withee, called on friends in Unity, Saturday and Sunday.

W. T. McGuire came over from near Neillsville, Tuesday, returning Monday.

All attend the young men’s dance, on Friday evening. A grand time is anticipated.

Rev. Smith, of Medford, will speak at the M. E. Church, next Sunday, at 10:30 A.M.

Jessie Britton, who is teaching west of here, spent Sunday with her parents at this place.

The I. O. of G. T.’s aid society held at F. H. Darling’s on Saturday evening, was a social success.

Misses E. J. Darling and Dunnigan took a combined pleasure and business trip to Marshfield, Saturday.

Miss Mary Rossman, who is teaching at Curtiss, spent Saturday and Sunday, in town, the guest of Mrs. E. F. Bowen.

W. P. Dixon, of Kankakee, Illinois, spent a portion of Monday, in town, in the interests of the Goodyear Rubber Company.

Rumor has it that there are three weddings to occur in the near future – a natural result of leap-year. Boys be on your guard.

The epidemic which has been raging through our town of late, has so far abated that the school is again attaining its former size.
