Surnames: Kraemer, Kramer, Almquist, Peterson, Erickson, Decker, Hanne Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 08/16/1945 Kramer, Richard Carl (13 Feb. 1888 – 11 Aug. 1945) Richard Kramer, a former resident of the town of Holton, died at Marshfield Saturday, chronic mycroditis being the cause of his death, at the age of 57 years. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby, Rev. Almquist of Unity officiating, and internment was made in the Town Holton cemetery. Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 08/23/1945 Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 14, at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby for Richard Carl Kramer, age 57, who died Saturday, Aug. 11th, at his home in Marshfield. Rev. Arthur W. Almquist, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran church of Unity, officiated, and internment was made in the town of Holton cemetery. The deceased was born in the town of Holton on Feb. 13, 1888, and was married to Anna Peterson on May 14th, 1913. He was engaged in farming until three years ago when he moved to Colby. Last December, the family moved to Marshfield. Surviving are his wife and eight children – Mrs. Emil Erickson of Unity, Norman Kramer and Mrs. Raymond Decker of Marshfield, Cpl. Earl Kramer, stationed in Germany, Mrs. Elroy Hanne of Abbotsford and Bernice, Roselyn and Darlene Kramer of Marshfield. Also surviving are two brothers, Ernest Kramer of Milan and Anton Kramer of Abbotsford and four grand children. His parents and a sister preceded him in death. *** Note: The surname was also spelled as Kraemer.
