Carl J. 'Kelly' Crement

ABBOTSFORD -- Carl "Kelly" John Crement, 84, Abbotsford, died Saturday, April 22, 2006, at the Continental Manor in Abbotsford.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2006, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Curtiss. Inurnment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Curtiss.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Maurina/Community Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

He was born July 20, 1921, in Hammond, La., to Joseph and Margaret (Butera) Crement. Carl and Valoris Krueger were united in marriage March 6, 1948, in Chicago. Carl was a machinist with Camco Company, which specialized in tool and die equipment in Wheeling, Ill. The couple retired in 1983, moving to Abbotsford to be near family.

He is survived by his wife, Valoris Crement, Abbotsford; a son, David (Nancy) Crement, Carpentersville, Ill.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his brother, Joseph Crement, Oak Lawn, Ill.; and two sisters, Virginia (Andy) Lichard and Ceil Salvaggio, both of Chicago.
